Learning Is Social Media

Three years have passed since I last blogged. I am happy to say I have been done my Master's for some time! Today I am at a MTS conference entitled "Learning is Social Media." We have been bombarded with a number of very useful tools. I particularly like the activity where we incorporated video to reflect on the first day. There are some very talented people who made a high quality video in a few minutes. The challenge of incorporating video with students is making sure the student’s adequately plan, and produce a product that allows them to demonstrate their knowledge of course content. More importantly, students should see the content as relevant and connected to their own life. That is very challenging and worthwhile work!
